DPW LLC started as Downey, Polak, and Wood, the passion project of three International Relations graduate students from Syracuse Maxwell, the number ranked Public Affairs school in the world. We hosted our first wargame simulation in August, 2022, and were shocked at the dozens of people who came out to participate. In the years since then we have hosted numerous wargames and have fleshed out mechanics behind military engagement, diplomatic negotiations, intelligence operations, and economic maintenance. The product DWP now presents is a finely tuned model of real world scenarios that provides instructive lessons for the government, academia, and the private sector. Our numerous institutional partners can attest to the robust, high quality nature of our work.
DWP is also supported by a rotating series of advisors and Subject Matter Experts, most recently by the Global Taiwan Institute in a realistic simulation of the Taiwan Straits Crisis.
